HIGH CONSTRUCTION TIGHTNESS
Smart-slide sliding doors are a new solution in the sliding door / window segment, which can ultimately be an attractive alternative to patio doors such as PSK / PATIO. This is a great solution both in terms of single-family housing, but also public facilities, where ease of use and reliability are expected from patio doors. A well-thought-out combination of technical solutions means that the smart-slide achieves very good results in the areas of air permeability, wind resistance and water resistance tests. All this thanks to the suitably matched seals of the sash, which by turning the handle are pressed transversely to the frame, all over the perimeter. High locking is also ensured by the locking points in the area of the post.
COMFORT OF USE
The innovative closing mechanism allows for simple and intuitive operation, similar to the solutions used in lift and slide doors, type HST. Specialized window fittings guarantee that the leaf, after unlocking it, moves freely and without the slightest resistance on trolleys with respect to the unfinished part of the structure. The locking mechanism allows the wing to be gently closed in the frame, and thus easy to operate the sliding door.
The 70 mm leaf depth and the 140 mm frame provide the new smart-slide sliding doors with a wide range of applications, including in the renovation area.
STABILITY AND POSSIBILITY TO MAKE LARGE STRUCTURES
Large glass surfaces are very fashionable. Smart-slide sliding doors meet this challenge, enabling the creation of a glazed structure with a wing size of 1.5 x 2.3 m, which in Diagram C allows the creation of glazing with a total dimensions of 5.85 x 2.3 m. The locking on the whole perimeter of the wing ensures high downforce, and at the same time the wing moves extremely lightly, using minimal force. This is a very important advantage especially in comparison to the sliding-sliding structures, which, with a large number of opening / closing cycles, can be embarrassing to operate. In addition, thanks to the construction of profiles with the use of Multifalz technology, there is the option of optional application of glass pasting technology, which allows to provide greater stiffness of the entire structure.
EASE OF PRODUCTION
The new smart-slide doors are easy to make, which ensures high production efficiency. This is possible mainly due to the small number of profiles used in their production. Similarly as in the case of patio doors, the frame is welded, the system uses a post from the Ideal 4000 system, and constant glazing is carried out directly in the frame. The entire production can be carried out using a standard machine park.
SPACE SAVING
The use of smart-slide sliding doors is also a step towards the optimal use of space inside the room, because the opening of the door does not require the opening of wings that would deeply “enter” the living space. The smart-slide door can be made in two schemes A and C:
- A: 2- casement – with one movable leaf
- C: 4- casement – with two middle leafs moving
FREEDOM OF CHOICE OF COLORS
Smart-slide doors are available in a wide range of decorative foils offered by us, as well as in this system you can use aluskin aluminum overlays, which further expands the range of available color variants. The smart-slide door premiered at this year’s Fensterbau Frontale in Nuremberg, where it aroused great interest.
